Abruzzo, ricordiamo Paolo Borsellino e Rita Atria sempre aprendo gli occhi e denunciando ogni sistema criminale
Solidarietà al proprietario della pizzeria di Lanciano e al suo coraggio. Il suo esempio sia seguito da tantissimi altri, sostenuta da cittadini ed istituzioni e non cada nel silenzio e nell’assuefazione.
L’anniversario della morte di Rita Atria ha concluso il lungo mese della memoria che inizia, ogni anno, con l’anniversario dell’assassinio di Peppino Impastato e ha tra i suoi momenti più intensi gli anniversari delle stragi di Capaci e Via D’Amelio. Cerimonie, targhe, discorsi, celebrazioni, retorica sono un intenso esercizio anche in Abruzzo. Importante e doveroso ricordare ma la memoria deve esercitarsi ogni giorno. E, soprattutto, essere viva e attiva. Una memoria sul passato senza sguardo sul presente è sterile esercizio, offende il sacrificio ed è di fatto complicità. Parlarne alla radio, in televisione, sui giornali, oggi probabilmente aggiungerebbe sui social, però parlatene. Il monito di Paolo Borsellino sullo spezzare ogni omertà, sul chiamare mafia i sistemi criminali, le sue violenze, oppressioni, traffici, squallide esistenze è più attuale che mai. Rita Atria scriveva che prima di combattere le mafie è necessario un auto esame di coscienza. Facciamolo, senza indugi e indulgenze, anche alle nostre latitudini.
I clan di Roma, Latina e Ostia sono originari di Abruzzo e Molise. E qui tante sono le famiglie, ma dovremmo chiamarli a loro volta clan, che sono presenti, attivi ed egemoni nel narcotraffico, nell’usura, nelle estorsioni, nell’imposizione violenta della loro presenza in locali pubblici, strade e piazze. L’abbiamo scritto e denunciato tante volte in questi anni. Ma ribadirlo non basta mai. Di Silvio (lo stesso clan al centro delle inchieste a Latina e provincia), Di Rocco, Ciarelli (che rimanda all’omicidio di Capodanno 2020 a Rancitelli), De Rosa e altri. Anche durante quest’emergenza pandemica, anche durante il lockdown della primavera 2020 quando tutti eravamo confinati in casa, non si sono mai fermati. Dai fuochi d’artificio allo spaccio, dal racket delle case popolari a Rancitelli fino ai fuochi d’artificio di Pescara e nel vastese. Forte, violenta ed attiva la loro presenza. A Casalbordino, non dobbiamo mai dimenticarlo, hanno incrociato due anni fa il terzogenito di Totò Riina. Accolto e considerato ospite d’onore, autore di aste a dir poco sconcertanti anche nei giorni dell’anniversario della strage di via D’Amelio e quasi santificato proprio nei giorni del compleanno di Giovanni Falcone e della strage di Capaci.
La cronaca di queste ultime settimane ha ricordato la violenza e l’efferatezza criminale di tali soggetti: l’aggressione ad un fantino a Chieti, a cui va tutta la nostra solidarietà, e quella di Lanciano in una pizzeria, a cui si sono aggiunte minacce di sparare al proprietario. Ad Ostia una svolta è stata rappresentata dal sostegno alle inchieste di Federica Angeli e dalle reazioni alla testata contro Daniele Piervincenzi e all’aggressione al Roxy Bar. Il coraggio e l’esempio civico del proprietario della pizzeria di Lanciano sono passati, invece, sotto silenzio. Nessuna reazione, nessun esponente delle istituzioni e della cittadinanza si è mosso. Così come è ormai stata completamente dimenticata l’aggressione subita proprio da Piervincenzi a Rancitelli. E le minacce contro il vicepresidente del consiglio regionale Domenico Pettinari e a cittadini passano come notizie di nessun conto. Esprimiamo solidarietà, stima e sostegno alla pizzeria di Lanciano, torniamo ad esprimerlo a Pettinari, alle sue battaglie e alle sue denunce. L’esempio della pizzeria di Lanciano sia seguito da tantissimi altri, sostenuta da cittadini ed istituzioni e non cada nel silenzio e nell’assuefazione, in città e ovunque siano presenti, attivi e violenti certi soggetti. Lo stesso proprietario ha sottolineato che sono episodi che avvengono anche in altri locali, abbiamo segnalazioni che accade anche in piccoli esercizi commerciali. Così come, lo denunciamo ancora una volta, è quotidianità in altri comuni da Pescara a Vasto, dal teramano a Casalbordino ed altri.
È ipocrita, vigliacco, indegno e offensivo ricordare chi è stato ucciso perché lottava contro mafie e ogni sopraffazione criminale e tacere su questo e tanto altro. Parliamone, denunciamo, facciamo nomi e cognomi. Senza indugio, indulgenze e remore. L’inchiesta sugli illeciti nel ciclo dei rifiuti, che ha coinvolto Campania, Puglia e Vasto tra gli altri ci ricorda quanto l’Abruzzo (vastese compreso) è spugna di ogni sistema criminale mafioso. Come chiunque di loro, a partire dalle mafie pugliesi e foggiane ormai ampiamente presenti nel tessuto economico e sociale, qua riesce a fare affari, comprarsi attività economiche (negli anni vari sequestri sono avvenuti a San Salvo così come ampia è la letteratura sulle mafie dei pascoli nella provincia aquilana), rifornire di droghe le piazze di spaccio. Le quarte mafie sono presenti, s’intrecciano con i sistemi criminali locali e infettano il nostro territorio. Eppure la recente presenza del procuratore aggiunto di Foggia Antonio Laronga è passata sotto traccia, tante assenze e ancor più i silenzi. Plauso a chi l’ha invitato e ha permesso di conoscere il suo coraggio, il suo esempio e le denunce e gli approfondimenti del suo libro. Vergogna per l’indifferenza di troppi. Chi tace acconsente, chi resta in silenzio è complice.
