Pescara. Giustizia è fatta: riconsegnata la casa estorta ad una signora
Un’importante presa di posizione del comitato che si batte contro degrado, prepotenze violente, narcotraffico, racket, sistemi criminali e per la riqualificazione e la fine dell’abbandono della zona di Pescara. Una lotta che l’Associazione Antimafie Rita Atria e PeaceLink sostengono con convinzione.
A Rancitelli è stata riconsegnata la casa popolare ad una signora a cui era stata estorta.
Un’anziana signora in difficoltà economica era stata avvicinata da una coppia di malviventi che le aveva offerto aiuto economico in cambio di ospitalità nel suo appartamento. Dopo un primo momento di disponibilità ed aiuto materiale i due avevano costretto la signora ad abbandonare l’alloggio e a dormire nel sottoscala del palazzo. L’anziana signora, rimasta senza l’abitazione, alle prime lamentele rivolte alla coppia veniva gravemente minacciata e a quel punto si convinceva a denunciare l’accaduto.
Le indagini condotte dai carabinieri portavano ad accertare l’estorsione dell’alloggio e le reiterate minacce alla signora. I due quindi venivano denunciati all’autorità giudiziaria che li rinviava a giudizio.
La casa è rimasta sempre formalmente rimasta intestata alla signora anche se di fatto non più nella sua disponibilità (i due avevano perfino cambiato la serratura e ristrutturato integralmente l’alloggio). Dopo il rinvio a giudizio dei due, grazie alla collaborazione tra i carabinieri e l’Ater la signora ieri è finalmente rientrata in possesso dell’alloggio.
Sonoepisodi come questo che ci fanno ancora sperare, perché dimostrano che tutto è possibile con l’impegno, la coordinazione e la collaborazione di cittadini, istituzioni e forze dell’ordine.
Quando la vittima trova il coraggio di denunciare nonostante le minacce, e viene protetta e sostenuta adeguatamente da forze dell’ordine e istituzioni, le battaglie per la legalità si possono vincere.
È quello che sosteniamo da sempre come Comitato di Quartiere ed è questo che orienta la nostra azione: per questo invitiamo le vittime di episodi simili a non avere paura, a uscire allo scoperto, a denunciare.
La giustizia in questo caso ha vinto, e ringraziamo per l’ottimo lavoro svolto i carabinieri, in particolar modo quelli della caserma di via lago di Borgiano presente nel nostro quartiere, la magistratura, e soprattutto la cittadina che ha subito l’estorsione, che si è sentita a tal punto protetta da denunciare le angherie subite.
Questi fenomeni sono più frequenti di quanto si creda e vanno di pari passo con altri fenomeni delinquenziali legati alle case popolari che, purtroppo, a volte vengono negati da istituzioni e autorità.
Quando lo Stato smette di essere presente nelle periferie (non solo Rancitelli, ma anche San Donato, Fontanelle, via Rigopiano e in altre zone della città) e di controllare le case popolari, si crea uno stato nello Stato.
Spesso, senza le denunce e le segnalazioni dei residenti, non si sa neanche chi si trova effettivamente negli alloggi, e conviene a tanti far finta che il problema non esista. Segnalare e denunciare costa inoltre attacchi e ritorsioni a quanti realmente hanno bisogno di un alloggio popolare, che purtroppo da certa politica vengono visti anche come un serbatoio di voti da sfruttare.
L’episodio di ieri rappresenta anche l’apice di un fenomeno più ampio, che trova le radici nel disagio economico che costringe molti a rivolgersi a criminali approfittatori. La strada per eliminare le vessazioni deve necessariamente passare anche attraverso l’impegno delle istituzioni ad eliminare le cause di questo disagio.
Noi continueremo a muoverci per la repressione dei fenomeni illeciti, ma anche per la prevenzione, sollecitando chi di dovere a intervenire sulle situazioni di difficoltà economica in cui versano in troppi.
Invitiamo le vittime a farsi avanti e a denunciare, perché solo rompendo il muro dell’omertà è possibile sradicare questo sistema malato.
Conosciamo bene la paura, ma paura di chi? Dei delinquenti che a volte vengono sottovalutati dalle istituzioni e autorità preposte al controllo del territorio? Per un reale cambiamento bisogna vincere la paura e farsi avanti, la solita maggioranza “perbene” deve riappropriarsi del quartiere senza essere ostaggio di una “minoranza” a cui non va neanche più riconosciuta una dignità criminale.
