Abruzzo. Sistemi criminali e mafiosi, violenze. Realtà sottaciute che non devono poter avanzare con le nuove restrizioni contro la pandemia
Con le nuove disposizioni per fronteggiare la seconda ondata della pandemia sarebbe vergognoso e sconcertante se una «minoranza a cui non va neanche riconosciuta una dignità» la possibilità di rafforzarsi di nuovo e continuare sfrenata e senza nessun rispetto dell’emergenza e delle minime regole civili e sociali.
La continua emergenza sanitaria dovuta al Covid-19 e l’arrivo della «seconda ondata» della pandemia ha portato alla disposizione di nuove restrizioni alla socialità. Durante il lockdown lo spaccio e altri sistemi criminali non si sono tuttavia fermati. Da Rancitelli a Pescara fino al vastese anche in quei mesi bui, mentre tutti noi eravamo chiusi in casa, ci sono stati arresti da parte delle forze dell’ordine: i sistemi criminali violenti e mafiosi in Abruzzo non si sono fermati e, anzi, sono persino avanzati.
Gli ultimi mesi, e persino i giorni più recenti, hanno per l’ennesima volta ricordato la realtà vera dell’isola infelice, spazzando via ogni illusione e favoletta che vigliaccamente e assurdamente si continua a seminare. L’ultima classifica de Il Sole 24 ore pone Pescara, città dove quest’estate la droga è tornata ad uccidere e ci sono stati nuovi attentati contro cittadini onesti e coraggiosi, ai vertici nazionali per il narcotraffico. Quel narcotraffico che, egemonizzato da famiglie (ma, lo ripetiamo ancora una volta forse sarebbe più giusto chiamarli clan) – Spinelli, Di Silvio, Di Rocco, Bevilacqua, Ciarelli, Guarnieri, De Rosa, e altri cognomi, s’intende non stiamo generalizzando su ogni persona che porta questi cognomi ma la realtà è evidente a chiunque non voglia essere pavidamente cieco – imparentate e collegate ai Casamonica e agli Spada di Roma ed Ostia, in affari con le mafie pugliesi e la camorra di origine campana, attraversa tutta la costa abruzzese dal teramano e Pescara, fino agli ultimi comuni prima del Molise ovvero Casalbordino, Vasto e San Salvo. Sistemi retti da gang violente, che impongono la loro presenza sentendosi padroni di tutto e di tutti**.
La fase 1 dell’emergenza, con il conseguente lockdown che tutti abbiamo cercato di rispettare, per loro – come denunciò la presidente del Comitato di Quartiere «Per una nuova Rancitelli» il 2 maggio e il 16 maggio – non è mai esistita e hanno continuato con la loro arroganza e prepotenza come prima, se non più di prima. E la legalità, le regole della convivenza civile, l’onestà si sono ritrovati ad arretrare: queste gang familiari e delinquenziali hanno conquistato nuovo spazio, si sono sentite sempre più forti e guai se questo, nel silenzio delle tiepide case, nelle prossime settimane dovesse ripetersi. Sarebbe una vergogna devastante e terribile.
E non si pensi che tutto debba essere demandato ai carabinieri o alla polizia, anche dietro le finestre o con gli scambi comunicativi permessi dalle moderne tecnologie, notizie e fatti ci giungono. E allora si deve avere il coraggio di denunciare, di parlare, di opporsi e non amalgamarsi al degrado sociale, alla violenza e alla prepotenza di questa – facciamo nostre le parole dell’avvocato Di Credico e di tutto il Comitato di Quartiere urlandolo con forza, rabbia, indignazione, stanchezza e nausea di questi meschini personaggi e degli ancor più meschini pavidi accettatori – «minoranza a cui non va neanche riconosciuta una dignità». Perché non ce l’hanno e non ce l’avranno mai.
Ha destato scalpore, con una risonanza anche nazionale, il recente pestaggio di Lanciano. Non basta commuoversi per un ragazzo, a cui inviamo i migliori auguri che presto possa uscire da una drammatica situazione fisica e sanitaria, e far finta di indignarsi. Negli ultimi anni, anche nel cuore della borghese, santificata, ipocrita e perbenista «Pescara bene» – rapine e pestaggi sono aumentati, quest’estate abbiamo avuto diverse aggressioni omofobe (fisiche e verbali, in un parco addirittura da parte del presunto custode che al posto di custodire ha pensato di sfoggiare il proprio violento, stupido e ottuso bigottismo). E di aggressioni e pestaggi violenti, anche solo per un presunto sguardo o semplicemente perché avevano voglia di picchiare qualcuno, soprattutto da parte degli esponenti alle gang familiari criminali già citate, è stracolma la cronaca di questi anni. Quella che la stampa ha avuto la possibilità di raccontare e anche, come già dall’inizio di quest’anno è stata denunciata qui, tanti altri episodi rimasti nell’ombra per la pavidità e la connivenza di troppi. Episodi nel vastese, soprattutto nel paese che l’anno scorso ospitò e coccolò il terzogenito di Totò Riina*, ci sono stati segnalati anche negli ultimi mesi.
La ricerca universitaria coordinata dalla prof.ssa Lina Calandra nei mesi scorsi ha riportato l’attenzione sui terribili incendi del 2017 sul Morrone e sui meccanismi occulti dietro questi fatti e la fine di agosto è stata segnata da nuovi terribili incendi nell’aquilano e nelle Riserve Naturali di Vasto. Chi e perché ha scatenato nuove apocalissi di fuoco? Le dinamiche, le condizioni meteorologiche del giorno, la vastità di questi incendi certamente non smentiscono la possibilità che non siano stati un incidente improvviso causato dalla fatalità. È compito delle forze dell’ordine e della magistratura indagare, capire esattamente cosa è successo e punire gli eventuali responsabili. È compito dei cittadini, doveroso e sacrosanto e chi tace dovrebbe solo vergognarsi ed è il peggior cittadino possibile, parlare e denunciare se hanno elementi utili, denunciare quando vedono e non girarsi dall’altra parte.
Ma, mentre gli inquirenti portano avanti il loro encomiabile lavoro, ci sono dubbi, domande e interrogativi pesanti su cui tutti dovremmo riflettere. Dietro le mafie dei pascoli, documenta e denuncia la ricerca universitaria, si nascondono sistemi fraudolenti e delinquenziali che devastano i territori lucrando su fondi pubblici, soprattutto europei. E le notizie provenienti dal Trentino di queste settimane, con l’avvio di un procedimento da parte della locale Corte dei Conti, sono lì a ricordarcelo. Facciamo nostro e rilanciamo l’appello della stessa professoressa Calandra qui agli «allevatori – e noi aggiungiamo a tutti i cittadini – onesti che hanno sofferto in tutti questi anni e che nonostante tutto non si sono arresi» a collaborare con le forze dell’ordine per denunciare «quello che non va», «Ci sono giornalisti onesti, inondiamoli di segnalazioni».
Meccanismi fraudolenti che sfruttano fondi comunitari sono alla base anche della rete sgominata in una recente operazione inter-regionale delle forze dell’ordine che, dal foggiano, è arrivata anche nel chietino. La stessa rotta di troppi anni di narcotraffico, sfruttamento della prostituzione (lo documenta anche un recente arresto avvenuto a Vasto) e altri crimini mafiosi. In questi anni lo abbiamo denunciato e sottolineato tante volte, davanti alle molte inchieste delle forze dell’ordine, alle maxi operazioni, ai sequestri di immobili e attività economiche soprattutto a Vasto e San Salvo.
Troppo facile chinare il capo, girare la testa dall’altra parte, far finta di niente ed amalgamarsi ad ogni marciume. Comodo, ma anche squallidamente complice e schifosamente colpevole , per poi lamentarsi del piccolo, dell’insignificante fatterello sotto casa che non va. I fatti di queste settimane, le cronache che da troppi anni sono stracolme di marciume, delinquenza, violenze e mafie di ogni tipo impone a tutti una cesura netta con un passato troppo spesso falso e meschino.
Non si sa quando usciremo dall’emergenza sanitaria e soprattutto come ne usciremo, se migliori e peggiori. Se l’Abruzzo uscirà come è entrato, se si pensa di poter tornare alla normalità silente, complice, omertosa, pavida, interessata di prima non solo non andrà tutto bene ma andrà tutto male e peggio. Potrà sembrare un ritorno alla normalità, potrà sembrare tutto risolto e salvato. Ma non sarà così. E ogni pestaggio in piazza, ogni morto per overdose, ogni rete del narcotraffico, dello sfruttamento della schiavitù sessuale, ogni corruzione, truffa, ogni crimine peserà come macigno sulle coscienze. Ovviamente di chi una coscienza ce l’ha.
Noi, nonostante censure, silenzi, disprezzi, vigliaccherie, isolamenti e tentativi di delegittimazione continueremo ad averla. E fino all’ultimo respiro non smetteremo mai di gridare, indignarci e parlare. Quelli che abbiamo riportato sono solo alcuni dei sistemi criminali, mafiosi, delinquenziali e violenti che infestano i nostri territori. Ce ne sono tantissimi altri e torneremo presto a ricordarli, raccontarli, denunciarli, a spezzare l’indifferenza dei materassi di piume e dei vigliacchi che, per squallida convenienza personale, tacciono e si adattano.
Non lo faremo mai e chi s’illude del contrario può smettere di farlo. E di non rimanere tranquillo.
