Nel corso di questi ultimi anni, si è assistito, in Italia, alla mistificazione della fede da parte di un leader politico populista, il quale, da un lato, baciava il crocifisso e, dall’altro, decideva di ostruire l’ingresso nei porti italiani ad esseri umani
Il populismo deve essere sconfitto e con esso la povertà economica e culturale, conseguenza drammatica di tale forma distorta di governare il popolo.
In Italia bisogna favorire l’avvento della democrazia che non significa affatto, come le destre sostengono, che essa sia un modo di concepire la vita che consente di non seguire le regole, di generare disordine e di rinnegare le proprie tradizioni e la propria cultura.
Il populismo si nutre di ignoranza, di povertà, di miseria e diventa l’oppio dei popoli promettendo loro sicurezza, lavoro e benessere.
La democrazia è la vera strada per realizzare il benessere perché solo la coesione, la libertà e la solidarietà creano una società a misura d’uomo.
La democrazia si arricchisce, ancor più, se suffragata da una visione cristiana della vita, proprio in quanto essa rafforza il senso del dovere relativamente al rispetto dell’essere umano, tenendo in considerazione l’elevato valore della sua sfera spirituale.
Nel corso di questi ultimi anni, si è assistito, in Italia, alla mistificazione della fede da parte di un leader politico populista, il quale, da un lato, baciava il crocifisso e, dall’altro, decideva di ostruire l’ingresso nei porti italiani ad esseri umani, provenienti da terre molto povere, i quali sarebbero rimasti chiusi in barconi sul mare se organizzazioni umanitarie non fossero intervenute per salvarli.
Certo, quest’uomo, di discutibile “fede politica”, derideva la fede cristiana attraverso le sue scelte disumane, generando solo degrado umano e spirituale.
Non vi è dubbio che noi che rappresentiamo “La Nuova Democrazia”, andando oltre tale miserabile scenario, faremo vivere la fratellanza e il rispetto dell’essere umano.
