La prima Pasqua dell’umanità errante e ferita
Quest’anno la Pasqua sarà permeata da un messaggio diverso, di cui tutta l’umanità sarà portavoce: costruire un mondo “nuovo”
Non vi è dubbio che, quest’anno, la Pasqua segnerà il passaggio dell’intero universo verso una nuova dimensione della vita. Il coronavirus ha fatto si che l’umanità si incammini, ancora una volta, verso “la terra promessa”, che non è certamente un territorio, ma sicuramente un superamento, un lasciare indietro quelle che erano considerate le proprie inconfutabili certezze. Ed ecco, di nuovo, comparire l’uomo senza potere, ossia l’uomo ormai consapevole di non poter rivendicare alcuna forma di potere, neanche quello temporale, ossia quel potere legato alle Istituzioni, ai centri cosiddetti di potere. Si è verificato un crollo senza dimensioni di quasi tutti i modelli di vita dell’essere umano. Abbiamo assistito, meravigliandoci, all’atteggiamento di sfida di alcuni politici degli Stati più potenti, i quali hanno ridicolizzato il potere nefasto del virus, per poi esserne ridicolizzati a loro volta, per gli effetti drammatici dell’epidemia. Successivamente ecco manifestarsi la loro penosa paura, in quanto il virus, che non sottostà sicuramente alla volontà umana, ha dimostrato di abbattere ogni potere, seminando morte senza discriminazione tra territori poveri e ricchi, diffondendosi in modo irrefrenabile. Abbiamo, quindi, osservato farsi piccoli i grandi uomini di potere, quelli che non devono mai chiedere nulla, in quanto ad essi tutto è dovuto. Essi hanno cercato di difendersi invano: migliaia di morti sono stati lo spettacolo devastante e doloroso a cui, senza poter reagire, hanno assistito nei propri Stati all’avanguardia del progresso e del potere economico.
Lo smacco più grande è stato il non avere una terapia che potesse annientare il coronavirus. Ciò ha reso tragicamente evidente la fragilità umana. Un’ombra di lutto e dolore ha coperto i cieli delle nazioni più potenti del mondo e i cieli di quelle più deboli. Il dolore si è diffuso sull’intera umanità evidenziandone la debolezza e la caduta dei suoi sistemi di difesa. È stato il crollo degli dei. Certo, il crollo degli dei, quelli profani. Non sarà il crollo di Dio, a cui appartiene la Potenza dell’Amore, che tutto può, non certo il fragile potere dell’uomo, ridicolizzato dai tragici eventi. Gesù, ripetutamente, senza sosta, nel Vangelo fa riferimento alla Potenza di Dio, che è la potenza dell’Amore che tutto può, anche sconfiggere la morte. In questa nuova Pasqua affidiamoci alla Potenza di Dio, attraverso Gesù, che con la Pasqua, ci ha lasciato la più grande eredità che si possa lasciare all’uomo, ossia che la morte è stata superata con la sua Resurrezione. Ritorneremo a vivere, dopo aver superato questa epidemia, con la certezza che solo Dio e nessun altro può sconfiggere la morte. La Pasqua ci porta un nuovo annuncio: la vita appartiene a Dio e Lui ci salverà, come ha fatto nel corso della storia dell’uomo. Difatti, da pochi giorni, la curva epidemica in Italia e, successivamente nel resto del mondo, inizia la sua discesa.
Ci salveremo dall’epidemia. Rinascerà una nuova umanità, più evoluta in quanto non potrà non recare con sé una certezza attestata dal coronavirus, ossia che siamo tutti uguali. L’essere uguali ci rende fratelli. Da questa certezza dovrà prendere le mosse il nostro impegno futuro per raggiungere il progresso umano, sorretti dallo spirito di verità e di amore. Sarà tale spirito di verità e di amore a far sì che l’uomo crei una nuova forma di economia, che rispetti il creato e i diritti di tutti gli esseri umani, tale da superare la povertà e la sofferenza umana. C’è da chiedersi se porre se stesso al centro sarà ancora possibile, se vivere nell’indifferenza sarà ancora un atteggiamento molto diffuso. Si osserva, in queste ore, nel corso della trattativa inerente gli aiuti economici da devolvere agli Stati maggiormente colpiti, che qualcuno difende ancora i propri territori, si chiude nella propria autosufficienza. Lo denotano gli atteggiamenti di alcuni Stati europei di fronte alle urgenze economiche che gli stati più provati dall’epidemia manifestano.
Come può spiegarsi l’atteggiamento di chiusura di tali Stati, non disposti ad essere solidali di fronte al crollo economico di alcuni Stati, tra i quali si colloca anche la nazione italiana? Cosa dire, a tal punto, del sogno europeo? Esso crolla di fronte alla prova più dolorosa per l’Europa e per il mondo intero? Quest’anno la Pasqua sarà permeata da un messaggio diverso, di cui tutta l’umanità sarà portavoce: costruire un mondo “nuovo”. Non vi è dubbio che l’epidemia dolorosa e straziante da coronavirus ha determinato un anelito umanitario in ogni essere umano, che desidera dirigersi, ancora una volta, verso la “terra promessa”, che non è un territorio ma è un nuovo spazio aperto dentro di noi, che ci consentirà di accogliere lo stravolgimento del significato sinora attribuito all’esistenza umana. Pasqua significa passaggio ed ora l’intero universo nutre, con dirompente vigore, l’intento di effettuare un “passaggio” o meglio una trasformazione spirituale, perché attonito, perché inesorabilmente colpito nelle sue certezze più profonde.
