Purtroppo si assiste sempre più spesso a fenomeni criminali radicati nei territori e al tentativo di offuscare la loro presenza attraverso intimidazioni, querele temerarie e scarsa informazione.

L’idea del Manifesto della Legalità nasce così dall’esigenza di fare un fronte comune per tutelare i diritti dei cittadini attraverso una corretta informazione priva di condizionamenti esterni e con l’impegno delle reti sociali attive nei territori.

La sottoscrizione del Manifesto, da parte degli operatori dell’informazione, delle associazioni e della politica rafforza l’impegno messo in campo da queste realtà per creare gli anticorpi necessari contro il malaffare, ma soprattutto è una dichiarazione di intenti per far sì che nessuno resti solo contro tutto questo.

I punti su cui si basa la nostra manifestazione di pensiero:

• La nostra è un’unione di forze per informare correttamente i cittadini su quanto accade nei territori;

• Facciamo rete con tutte le realtà attive della società civile che si occupano della tutela dei diritti dei cittadini e di informazione libera da condizionamenti esterni;

• Cultura, legalità, giustizia sociale, lavoro, tutela dell’ambiente e dei beni comuni, trasparenza e libera informazione sono i nostri anticorpi alla malapolitica e ai Clan;

•Fronte comune contro intimidazioni, querele bavaglio, corruzione e omertà tipiche della cultura mafiosa;

• Confronto, sostegno e condivisione di progetti, denunce e proposte per migliorare e tutelare il tessuto sociale nei territori.

• Condivisione di informazioni, dati e analisi dei singoli territori per permettere correlazioni e lavorare in rete.

Il Manifesto della Legalità è sottoscritto da tutti noi che abbiamo scelto di essere uniti, di lottare facendo sentire la nostra voce ma soprattutto di non restare a guardare.
