Discarica abusiva continua in via Salce a Vasto, presentato nuovo esposto
VASTO. Un recente sopralluogo ha mostrato ancora una volta la persistenza della discarica abusiva in via Salce e ancora frequenti abbandoni di ogni tipologia di rifiuti. Da cui partì un incendio nel 2015 e ben due nel 2017. Corredate dalle foto scattate abbiamo presentato un esposto a vari organi investigativi.
Allarme caldo, l’aumento vertiginoso delle temperature che sta coinvolgendo tutta la Penisola porta a gravi disagi, a preoccupazioni sanitarie e – come ogni estate – stimolano interessi e istinti criminali. Vasti incendi son stati tornati ad esplodere in quasi tutta la regione adriatica. In Abruzzo bruciano le aree naturali, a Vasto meno di un anno fa fu colpita al cuore la Riserva di Punta Aderci (incendio acclarato come doloso ma, come troppo spesso, nessuno ha visto e sentito niente e i criminali sono ancora impuniti) e nelle settimane precedenti l’aquilano. In quella provincia dove nel 2017 settimane d’inferno si vissero sul Morrone, l’evoluzione degli incendi già rese chiaro che c’era un disegno criminale, doloso, dietro. Nel territorio dove incombe, nel silenzio, nell’omertà e nella complicità di tanti, la mafia dei pascoli. L’anno scorso pubblicammo ampi stralci di una ricerca universitaria coordinata dalla prof.ssa Lina Calandra dell’Università aquilana. Pagine che dovevano scuotere le coscienze, pretendere impegno civile, sociale e politico ed invece tutto è caduto nell’oblio.
Bruciano le aree naturali e bruciano i rifiuti, terra dei fuochi è un’espressione che ormai rimanda agli illeciti nel ciclo dei rifiuti, ai traffici e alle discariche di camorre, mafie e consorterie criminali varie. Ma non solo. La terra dei fuochi è ormai non più un perimetro geografico, ridotto alla sola Campania, ma un sistema economico e sociale. Nel quale incendiare i rifiuti, distruggere col fuoco frutti e prove di piccoli e grandi abbandoni illeciti è la norma. Sin dall’alba della nostra avventura editoriale abbiamo documentato discariche abusive, abbandoni illeciti di rifiuti in ogni angolo possibile ed immaginabile. Via Salce, periferia sud di Vasto, è uno dei luoghi emblematici. Qui un vasto incendio scoppiò nell’estate 2015, coinvolgendo anche la vicina autostrada, e ben due furono gli incendi due anni dopo: a febbraio e a luglio, entrambi successivi ad esposti ed articoli di denuncia della situazione di degrado persistente.
Siamo tornati nella strada alla periferia della città lo scorso 26 giugno, le foto allegate a quest’articolo documentano il persistere di quanto già ampiamente denunciato e documentato in questi mesi. E di come tutto continua e gli abbandoni proseguono indisturbati ed imperterriti. Non è certamente un sacchetto buttato da un’auto sporadicamente da un vandalo incivile, la mole di rifiuti che continuamente viene gettata in questa strada mostra una realtà sistematica e una sorta di organizzazione dell’abuso. Telecamere, droni, sorveglianza ambientale, tutto quanto era stato paventato già nel dicembre 2016 dall’amministrazione (come abbiamo riportato in precedenti articoli) non sembra essere mai comparso qui.
