Cos’è la memoria attiva? Come essere e fare memoria attiva? Si potrebbe parafrasare il film del 1975 per un interrogativo che dovrebbe scuotere le coscienze, svegliare dai torpori dei comodi giacigli e chiamare ad essere e fare impegno. Ancor di più in queste settimane, dense di anniversari, retoriche, cerimonie, oceani di parole, verità di comodo, verità accomodate, verità accomodanti e palchi-poltrone.
Negli anni dei social network proprietari, delle scuole svendute a multinazionali d’oltreoceano, di «moderne tecnologie» che inducono alla passività, delle materie grigie all’ammasso appare impossibile. E avanzano generazioni troppo giovani per ricordarlo. Ma c’è stato un periodo storico in cui l’informatica era libertà, indipendenza, strumento del pensiero e dell’azione, sfida alle leggi del mercato e del Potere.
In cui i computer erano autostrade di libertà, piazze dell’incontro di cervelli pensanti. In cui mettersi di fronte uno schermo ed una tastiera imponeva di ragionare, pensare, sapere. Un verbo quest’ultimo sempre più scomodo e scandaloso tra le Alpi e Malta. In quegli anni c’era chi non si accontentava, parafrasando un celebre manifesto degli anni ottanta e di quei tempi, di «cibo da bambini alla scuola» e di cibi che «erano già stati masticati e senza sapore» e bramava bistecche. Le bramava così tanto da trovarla, scovarla, masticarlo, farne la sua stessa vita.
L’Italia è il Paese delle trame, dei depistaggi, delle verità non vere, di memorie che son cibi liofilizzati (e avvelenati) masticati da sfere alte e meno alte e gettati in pasto alla massa ormai senza sapore. Ma c’è chi si accontenta. E chi va oltre. E, prima ancora di fare, è memoria attiva. Memoria che non si accontenta di rimanere su passi già consumati ma cammina, cammina, costruisce sempre nuovi percorsi e tesse sentieri verso vette inesplorate. Dall’incontro di due di questi cammini, dalla conoscenza e condivisione comuni, è nato un libro dedicato a Rita Atria: «Io Sono Rita. Rita Atria, la settima vittima di Via D’Amelio».
Il libro è pubblicato da Marotta&Cafiero Editori, la casa editrice indipendente open access di Scampia rilevata nel 2010 da Rosario Esposito La Rossa e Maddalena Stornaiuolo dell’associazione Vo.di.Sca. (Voci di Scampia), ed è il frutto dell’impegno e del lavoro d’inchiesta di Giovanna Cucé (giornalista del tg1), Nadia Furnari (fondatrice e vicepresidente nazionale dell’Associazione Antimafie Rita Atria) e Graziella Proto (fondatrice e direttrice della rivista antimafia Le Siciliane/Casablanca).

Due opposti: la lotta per il riscatto e il ricatto di Cosa Nostra.
