La famiglia del maresciallo Lombardo lotta per far luce sulla morte misteriosa del sottufficiale e potrebbero esserci nuove piste per riaprire il caso
Nuove piste potrebbero far riaprire il caso sulla morte del maresciallo dell’Arma dei Carabinieri Antonino Lombardo, avvenuta il 4 marzo 1995. La famiglia del sottufficiale, che non ha mai creduto alla tesi del suicidio, ha avanzato dubbi e presunte responsabilità sulla gestione dell’indagine e sulle circostanze della morte del loro padre.
La vicenda era è stata ripresa dalla trasmissione televisiva “Non è L’Arena” di Massimo Giletti, che ha lanciato nuove ombre sugli inquirenti e sulle procure. Ora, in occasione del 28° anniversario della morte del maresciallo Lombardo, la famiglia ha invitato alla partecipazione della Santa Messa in suo ricordo, che si terrà sabato 4 marzo prossimo alle 10:30 nel Duomo Maria SS Delle Grazie a Terrasini.
Durante la cerimonia religiosa, la famiglia del maresciallo Lombardo illustrerà le recenti novità relative alla morte del sottufficiale e le azioni intraprese per far luce sulla vicenda. Le nuove piste potrebbero portare a una riapertura del caso e a una revisione delle indagini.
Antonino Lombardo era l’ex comandante dei carabinieri di Terrasini, nel Palermitano, e fu trovato morto il 4 marzo 1995 dentro la sua macchina, parcheggiata nella caserma che ospita il comando regionale dei carabinieri. Secondo le indagini, il sottufficiale si suicidò con la pistola d’ordinanza, lasciando una lettera in cui spiegava le ragioni del suo gesto.
La famiglia del maresciallo Lombardo, però, ha sempre ritenuto che il suo decesso non fosse un suicidio, ma piuttosto l’effetto di qualcosa di più oscuro. Ora, con le nuove informazioni emerse, potrebbero essere fatti passi avanti nella ricerca della verità sulla morte misteriosa del sottufficiale.
