Oltre 400 anni di carcere sono stati chiesti dalla procura per 34 imputati, che avevano scelto il rito abbreviato, coinvolti nei due blitz “Gordio” e “Pars Iniqua”, rispettivamente messi a segno dai carabinieri e dalla Dia lo scorso 5 luglio, che avevano portato in carcere 81 persone in totale, tutte facenti parte di cinque bande operative nel mandamento di Partinico.

Tra questi figura Michele Vitale del clan “Fardazza”. Per lui la richiesta del procuratore aggiunto Paolo Guido e dei sostituti Dario Scaletta, Alfredo Gagliardi e Bruno Brucoli, è di 15 anni di reclusione. A capo dei gruppi ci sarebbero stati lo stesso Vitale, 54 anni, Michele Casarrubbia e Gioacchino Guida: per loro i pm hanno chiesto al gup Paolo Magro rispettivamente 18 e 20 anni di carcere.

Al centro dell’inchiesta era finito anche un agente penitenziario in servizio nel carcere Pagliarelli, che avrebbe consentito a diversi detenuti di comunicare con l’esterno. Si tratta di Santo Calandrino, che per l’accusa sarebbe stato un uomo a servizio del clan. In cambio, secondo quanto emerso dalle indagini, avrebbe ricevuto un capretto per Pasqua, una cassa d’arance, tre chili di ricotta, il lavaggio della macchina, qualche melograno, una tuta e un giubbotto di una squadra di calcio di Partinico.

Non solo Michele Vitale. Nell’inchiesta è venuto fuori anche il nome di Giusy Vitale, “Fardazza” pure lei, divenuta collaboratrice di giustizia dopo che per anni era stata al vertice del mandamento a seguito degli arresti dei fratelli Vito e Leonardo. La procura ha scoperto che nonostante il “pentimento”, la Vitale non si sarebbe allontanata mai dalle logiche mafiose, tanto che sarebbe stata al centro di un traffico di droga che sarebbe dovuto partire da Roma, insieme al nipote Casarrubbia.

Questi invece i nomi e le richieste di condanna degli altri imputati:

Giuseppe Lombardo 15 anni, Pietro Virga 15 anni, Maria Rita Santamaria 9 anni, Vincenzo Cusumano 15 anni, Antonio Tranchida 9 anni, Giuseppe Accardo 9 anni, Rocco Pesce 15 anni, Rachid Mustafà Madmoune 8 anni, Antonina Vitale 18 anni, Yonuz Sheeshi, detto “Elio”, 9 anni, Salvatore Gugliotta 6 anni, Raffaele Guida 18 anni, Massimo Ferrara 18 anni, Maria Guida 16 anni, Savio Coppola 14 anni, Salvatore Coppola (classe 1976) 16 anni, Roberta Pettinato 7 anni, Angelo Cucinella 15 anni, Giovanni Visiello 13 anni, Raffaele Visiello 13 anni, Marco Marcenò 13 anni, Edoardo La Mattina 13 anni, Sebastiano Li Mandri 13 anni, Salvatore Primavera 13 anni, Leonardo Pellitteri 13 anni, Rosario Stallone 13 anni, Stefano Carocci 9 anni, Alessio Antonacci 9 anni, Vincenzo Messina 9 anni, Gianvito Inghilleri 9 anni e mezzo, Riccardo Biagio Sanzone 8 anni.

Gli altri arrestati sono stati invece rinviati a giudizio e il dibattimento è in corso in tribunale.
