Spunta il progetto di un termovalorizzatore privato a Bosco Falconeria. Ma due sono troppi!!!
È di oggi la notizia, tenuta nascosta e venuta fuori per vie traverse, che in contrada Bosco Falconeria di Partinico, in uno spazio al momento non bene individuato, ma tra i vari bagli ristrutturati e diventati locali di lusso per cerimonie, dovrebbe nascere un termovalorizzatore, stando a un progetto presentato da privati al Comune e, si presume, anche alla Regione, che di termovalorizzatori dovrebbe realizzarne almeno tre.
Ed è anche di oggi l’altra notizia che il ministro dell’ambiente Galletti ha scritto una lettera al presidente Crocetta, intimando un ultimatum per una “sostanziale inadempienza delle prescrizioni ministeriali”, che Crocetta si era impegnato a rispettare. Crocetta non ha fatto nulla di quanto promesso e il ministro minaccia di commissariare la Regione se non saranno presi subito provvedimenti. Cosa aveva promesso Crocetta, in cambio di alcune deroghe e proroghe sullo stoccaggio dei rifiuti? La realizzazione di impianti per la differenziata e per la termovalorizzazione di almeno 700 mila tonnellate di rifiuti, con l’impegno di inviare all’estero o in altre regioni la spazzatura eccedente. Come al solito “il siculo Morfeo” e la sua assessora Contraffatto non sono andati avanti nemmeno di un passo sulla spinosa e puzzolente questione. Conclusione: le discariche di Bellolampo, di Ragusa, di Trapani e le altre in mano ai privati, tipo quella dei Catanzaro a Siculiana, sono ormai piene e al collasso e la monnezza è destinata a rimanere sulle strade.
Ma spostiamoci su un altro lato del territorio, vicinissimo al primo: è stato detto, sbandierato e strepitato che la delocalizzazione della distilleria Bertolino nascondeva la costruzione di un termovalorizzatore che, apparentemente sarebbe dovuto servire a bruciare le vinacce esauste, ma in realtà, secondo la fervida immaginazione di alcuni improvvisati ambientalisti, nascondeva l’installazione di un termovalorizzatore in cui sarebbe stato bruciato di tutto, con grave nocumento dell’ambiente, delle aziende agricole della zona e dei polmoni dei cittadini di Alcamo. Dei polmoni dei partinicesi sembra che a questi teorici del sospetto non importi niente. Sia chiaro che nulla e niente potrebbe autorizzare l’ipotesi di un termovalorizzatore inquinante, senza i dovuti permessi dei responsabili dell’ambiente regionali, ma tant’è, l’abitudine a rimestare le acque per farle diventare più sporche di quello che già sono, o di gettare benzina sul fuoco (del termovalorizzatore, nel nostro caso), è di casa dalle nostre parti, tutto fa brodo, anzi fa politica.
Senonchè, la presentazione del progetto di privati spiazza tutti. Attenzione, non è detto che il progetto possa essere approvato, ma non è escluso, anche in considerazione dell’ultimatum del ministro, che ci sia un benestare. E allora? Secondo i No-deloc (che sta per No delocalizzazione) finiremmo con l’avere due termovalorizzatori, ma in ultima analisi, sempre secondo costoro è meglio niente e tenersi la monnezza.
Il che pone un drammatico interrogativo: è preferibile il fumo depurato di un termovalorizzatore privato, o è meglio la puzza dei rifiuti? È più igienico e fa meno danno alla salute l’uno o l’altra? È meglio vendere i rifiuti all’estero, che se li comprano e li lavorano, o attrezzarci noi per lavorare quelli lavorabili e bruciare quelli intrattabili?
Davanti a queste domande la risposta non è facile ed è politica. Al momento, per Crocetta è meglio non fare niente. Per la Bertolino è meglio accumulare sul piazzale una enorme montagna di vinacce e continuare tutto come prima, in attesa che chi dovrebbe decidere decida di decidere, anziché di non decidere.
E intanto, sotto il fuoco dei 40 gradi c’è chi ha deciso di risolvere drasticamente il problema: bruciamo tutto, anche la monnezza ammucchiata, così non ci sarà bisogno né di termovalorizzatori né di differenziazione. Meglio ancora fare come a Ragusa, dove alcuni vigili del fuoco davano fuoco, telefonavano a se stessi per andare a spegnerlo e per incassare 10 euro di straordinario per ogni ora. Geniale! Tanto quanto Nerone che diede fuoco a Roma per costruirla più bella e dall’alto della sua reggia cantava: “Brucia Roma, brucia…Ah, Ah, Ah!!!! Qui brucia la Sicilia, l’acqua della diga non arriva più nelle campagne, si perdono i raccolti per l’inefficienza del Consorzio che dovrebbe occuparsene e non si pensa neppure a chiedere lo stato di calamità, come già da tempo fanno le regioni del Nord. Il fumo servirà ad annerire le facce dei siciliani superstiti e a non farli “differenziare” dalle ondate di neri che ormai arrivano da ogni parte. Il resto è rinviato, per chi ci arriva, alle prossime elezioni regionali, quando i candidati, già prima di messere eletti, risolveranno tutto. A parole.
