Sull’arresto dell’ultimo dei padrini, ultimo in ordine di tempo, si sta dicendo tutto sui social e sui telegiornali. Trent’anni di latitanza e altri trenta passati a scannare cristiani: “Con le persone uccise da me si potrebbe riempire un cimitero” , pare che egli stesso abbia detto. Matteo “U Strocchiu”, “U Siccu”, “La Primula Rossa” ,“Alessio”, “L’invisibile”, “Diabolik” , “Soldino”, come lo hanno battezzato a Telejato, questi alcuni dei tanti nomi che gli sono stati affibbiati. E proprio a Telejato ogni anno, per il suo compleanno gli abbiamo fatto gli auguri, il primo dei quali era quello di essere accompagnato alle patrie galere. Maniaci ha addirittura promesso che nel giorno dell’arresto si sarebbe tagliato i baffi. Oggi finalmente ci siamo. Qualche ipotesi su questo arresto, che rende il 16 gennaio 2023, una bella giornata, malgrado la pioggia e il freddo e malgrado la triste notizia della scomparsa della grande attrice Gina Lollobrigida:
Primo: ripetendo una frase di Ingroia quando hanno arrestato Bernardo Provenzano, “lo hanno preso quando lo hanno voluto prendere”. Il che lascia sottintendere che è sempre esistito una sorta di reticolo di complicità o una sorta di tacito accordo tra i boss e chi dovrebbe catturarli e che in diversi casi si tratta di cattura ad orologio;
Secondo: Non lo hanno preso, si è fatto prendere, si è voluto fare prendere. Stava male, aveva bisogno di cure a causa di un tumore al colon, oppure non si sentiva sicuro perché qualche suo collega di Cosa Nostra gli voleva fare la pelle, e si è fatto arrestare.
Terzo: è stato tradito da qualcuno che gli era accanto e che lo ha consegnato, a seguito di precise richieste e condizioni.
Quarto: Le forze dell’ordine e la Procura di Palermo che ha coordinato le indagini hanno portato avanti un preciso ed eccezionale lavoro di intelligence, lo hanno individuato, hanno predisposto la rete nella quale è finito il grosso pesce;
Alcuni “esperti” si sono soffermati sull’importanza degli applausi che alcune persone all’interno della Clinica Maddalena hanno fatto al momento dell’arresto, facendo notare che prima questo non esisteva, ma si tratta di persone con la memoria corta, perché scene di gioia e applausi abbiamo visto anche per l’arresto di Bernardo Provenzano e di Giovanni Brusca. Falcone una volta lo disse a Borsellino: “La gente comincia a fare il tifo per noi”
In merito al decantato ruolo di “capo di Cosa Nostra”, in base a quanto venuto fuori da qualche testimonianza e da alcune indagini, pare che il mafioso arrestato non si fosse mai spostato da Castelvetrano, dove aveva i suoi affetti i suoi interessi e le sue protezioni, malgrado la terra bruciata fatta attorno a lui dalle forze dell’ordine e dai magistrati, e che per contro il ruolo di capo, dopo la morte di Salvatore Reina, anzi, dopo il suo arresto, sia rimasto ed è ancora vacante.
Nei prossimi giorni ne sapremo di più. Al momento, come del resto in passato hanno fatto molti governi, la Meloni non si è fatta scappare l’occasione di fare un salto a Palermo per far presente che l’arresto di uno dei latitanti più pericolosi del mondo è avvenuto sotto il suo governo al quale va dato il merito.
